When I started Warrior Fitness & Wellness in 2021, my goal was to create more than just a place where people could come in, exercise, and leave. I wanted to build a community where people of all ages, abilities, and fitness levels could feel comfortable working toward their goals while having access to quality coaching and a supportive environment.
Over the years, Warrior has continued to grow and evolve. We've introduced new programs, expanded our services, brought in different coaches, and learned a lot along the way. While I'm proud of what we've built, I also believe there's still plenty of room for us to grow.
One of my biggest goals moving forward is to continue growing our team, expanding our class offerings, and creating more opportunities for people at Warrior.
Building a Stronger Team of Coaches
One thing I've realized as a gym owner is that Warrior shouldn't revolve around just one person, including myself. I love personal training, teaching classes, and working directly with members, but I also recognize that building a successful fitness community means surrounding yourself with great people.
That's why I'm looking toward bringing additional qualified personal trainers and instructors into Warrior in the near future. I want members to have more options when it comes to coaching styles, scheduling, and the types of training they're interested in.
Not everyone connects with the same coach, and that's completely fine. Some people enjoy high-energy workouts, while others prefer a more individualized approach. Some want to build muscle or improve athletic performance, while others simply want to move better, improve their health, and maintain their independence as they age.
My goal is to build a team where every coach brings something different to the table, and where their individual strengths make Warrior better as a whole.
More Classes at Ellicottville and Little Valley
Another area I'm focused on is continuing to develop our group fitness schedules at both locations.
I understand that everyone has different schedules. Some people prefer early mornings, while others need afternoon, evening, or weekend options. I also know there are different types of workouts people enjoy, and I want to create more opportunities for members to find classes that work for them.
As we bring in additional instructors and evaluate member interest, my hope is to introduce more classes and different training options at both Ellicottville and Little Valley.
One exciting addition we can officially announce is that Aerial Aerobics will begin Monday, November 2nd, at our Ellicottville location! Classes will be offered on Mondays and Tuesdays, giving our community an opportunity to experience something new and different.
We're excited to introduce another way for people to challenge themselves, step outside their usual routine, and explore a different style of fitness. We'll be sharing more information on our Facebook page throughout this week, including class times, details, and how to get involved, so be sure to watch for those announcements.
Of course, I want to be smart about how we continue expanding. Adding classes only makes sense if they're scheduled at times people can attend and offer something valuable to our members. That's why your feedback and participation are so important as we plan for the future.
Continuing to Build Warrior Strong
Our Warrior Strong program is another big part of where I want to take the business.
The idea behind Warrior Strong is to combine the motivation and community of group fitness with some of the structure and accountability of personal training. Members have different class membership options, workout tracking sheets to monitor their progress, body-composition assessments, and additional benefits designed to help them stay consistent.
I want people to do more than just show up, sweat, and go home. I want them to understand what they're working toward, recognize improvements in their strength and endurance, and feel like they're following a program that supports their individual goals.
As Warrior Strong continues developing, I'm excited about the possibility of adding more classes, involving additional coaches, and creating an even stronger sense of community.
Your Feedback Will Help Shape What's Next
Something I've learned from owning a business is that listening to your members is just as important as having your own ideas.
I might think a certain class time would be perfect, but if it doesn't work with people's schedules, then it isn't serving the community the way it should. The same goes for the types of classes, coaching options, and services we provide.
That's why I want to hear from you. Would you like more strength-training classes, cardio-based workouts, mobility sessions, or something completely different? Are there certain days or times that would make it easier for you to attend?
I can't promise we'll be able to accommodate every request, but I can promise that your feedback will help guide our decisions as we look toward expanding our offerings.
Growing Warrior Without Losing What Makes It Special
As Warrior continues to develop, one thing I never want to lose is the welcoming, community-focused environment we've worked hard to create.
I don't want us to become a gym where people feel like they're just another membership number. I want our coaches to know their clients, understand their goals, and genuinely care about helping them improve.
I also want Warrior to be a place where our trainers support one another rather than compete against each other. When one of our coaches succeeds, when a class grows, or when a member accomplishes something they've been working toward, that's a win for our entire community.
Growth shouldn't mean losing the personal connection that makes a gym special. It should mean creating more opportunities for those connections to happen.
The Next Chapter of Warrior
When I look toward the future, I envision a team of passionate coaches working together, more class opportunities for our communities, and programs that continue helping people become stronger, healthier, and more confident.
Not everything will happen overnight, and some ideas will take time to develop. But with Aerial Aerobics beginning November 2nd and plans to continue expanding our coaching team and class offerings, we're already taking steps toward that vision.
To everyone who has supported Warrior over the years, thank you. Whether you're a longtime member, someone who recently joined, or someone who's considering getting started, you're part of the reason we can continue building toward something bigger.
More coaches. More classes. More opportunities. The same commitment to our community.
That's the future I'm working toward, and I'm excited to see where we go from here.
Stronger bodies. Stronger habits. Stronger community. Warrior Strong.
